Stephen O. Woodard, DDS, PS

Dr. Stephen Woodard was raised in Issaquah, Washington, and attended Washington State University, where he received his Bachelors of Pharmacy degree in 1983. He was accepted into the University of Washington Dental School, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. The following year, Dr. Woodard accepted a teaching position at the University of Washington Dental School through Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he taught for four years while establishing a private dental practice in Issaquah. In 1992, Dr. Woodard and his family moved to Spokane Valley, where he continues to practice dentistry. He has been voted a top 10 dentist every year, and is regularly voted one of the top dentists in the Spokane area. Dr. Woodard belongs to numerous associations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Spokane District Dental Society, he is a trustee for Washington State University and several dental study clubs. He has served on the Spokane County Dental Society Foundation Board, and volunteers at the IDEA Dental Clinic in Spokane. He is deeply involved in community outreach projects, including Heart in Motion, which provides dental care in Guatemala. He volunteers in local schools and works with multiple organizations to help community charities through the Lutheran Church. Dr. Woodard enjoys time with his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Laura and Christopher and son in law Cody who is a elementary school teacher in Spokane. Lisa is a faculty member at Eastern Washington University College of Health Sciences and Public Health, Laura teaches high school Spanish. Christopher is currently attending dental school in Chicago. For many years before his children grew up, he was active in coaching. Dr. Woodard is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys cycling, hiking, fly-fishing, and spending time with his friends.
