Stephen O. Woodard, DDS, PS

Dr. Stephen Woodard was raised in Issaquah, Washington, and attended Washington State University, where he received his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1983. He was accepted into the University of Washington Dental School, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. The following year, Dr. Woodard accepted a teaching position at the University of Washington Dental School through Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he taught for four years while establishing a private dental practice in Issaquah. In 1992, Dr. Woodard and his family moved to Spokane Valley, where he continues to practice dentistry. He has been voted a top 10 dentist every year and is regularly voted one of the top dentists in the Spokane area. Dr. Woodard belongs to numerous associations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Spokane District Dental Society, he is a trustee for Washington State University, and several dental study clubs. He has served on the Spokane County Dental Society Foundation Board, and volunteers at the IDEA Dental Clinic in Spokane. He is deeply involved in community outreach projects, including Heart in Motion, which provides dental care in Guatemala. He volunteers in local schools and works with multiple organizations to help community charities through the Lutheran Church. Dr. Woodard enjoys time with his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Laura and Christopher, and son in law Cody who is an elementary school teacher in Spokane. Lisa is a faculty member at Eastern Washington University College of Health Sciences and Public Health, Laura teaches high school Spanish. Dr. Woodard’s son, Christopher, is also a dentist and has joined him in the practice. For many years before his children grew up, he was active in coaching. Dr. Woodard is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys cycling, hiking, fly-fishing, and spending time with his friends.


Christopher S. Woodard, DMD

Dr. Christopher Woodard was raised in Spokane Valley, Washington, and attended Washington State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Zoology degree in 2014. At Washington State University, he was a recipient of the President’s Award for Leadership, for demonstrating exceptional leadership and service to the university and community.  He was accepted into the Master of Biomedical Sciences program at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.  Dr. Woodard later attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2020.  During his training at the Midwestern College of Dental Medicine Illinois, Dr. Woodard earned the Briand D. Stone Memorial Award for demonstrating exceptional volunteer service and care for patients with special needs.  Additionally, he earned certifications in both laser procedures and Invisalign. Following dental school, he moved home to Spokane Valley, WA, where he will begin his career working in the practice that he has grown up with. He serves on dental mission trips, traveling to Guatemala to provide care to patients in underserved areas all throughout the country.  Dr. Woodard enjoys spending his time with family and friends and is a proud uncle to his two nephews, Isaac and Luke.  He is passionate about the outdoors where he enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, and spending time at the lake.  Dr. Woodard is excited to be a part of a patient-centered practice and provide excellent dental care to the greater Spokane Community.
